I, like many others, find October through March to be some of the best months. Halloween, Thanksgiving, our anniversary, Christmas, Lance’s birthday, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, my birthday… It’s a holiday hullabaloo, and it’s divine!
Christmas, to me, is a time to celebrate traditions, family, friends and the winter season. One way to celebrate family and tradition is through the decorations we have, most of which have been handed down from my grandparents to my parents to myself.
Welcome to our sort of gaudy, semi-tacky, totally retro holiday with a few modern additions (ahem, the Friends with You character in an ugly holiday sweater) and an all-around over-the-top feel. What can I say? I really like holidays.
