It was 66 degrees on Tuesday. Yesterday it snowed. When I woke up this morning, it was 18 degrees outside. Tomorrow the high is 62.
What. Is. HAPPENING.
In these confusing times, I’ve been turning to moto jackets + cozy pullovers to stay warm. As much as I like the cold, I have (mentally) put my puffy winter coat away for the season… so this is my alternative, and it’s working wonderfully.

I wear my black moto jacket so much that I knew a taupe option would be a huge hit in my closet. This new Soft Surroundings jacket is made of supple – I kind of hate that word, but I couldn’t think of a better one – faux leather and features stretchy fabric bands inside the arms for easy movement. The pockets are big enough to hold my phone and zip them closed. Unheard of! I’m a big fan. (For reference, I’m wearing a size medium, as I like enough extra room in my jackets to layer a few long-sleeved items underneath.)
Even the perfect jacket isn’t fixing my other weather-related issue: do I get an iced latte or a hot latte? These are the things that keep me up at night.
