DIY Inexpensive Autumn Wreath for Thanksgiving

I am always surprised by how much wreaths cost, just like I’m always surprised by how much throw pillows, chairs, lamps and lamp shades cost. I think my opinion on costs might be skewed, but whatever. They are stupidly priced.

Because of this, I was thrilled when I saw wreaths in the Target Dollar Section in early October. Thrilled. In fact, all of the items used in this wreath are from Target’s craft or dollar area. And they were all very affordable.

In case you can’t guess, I used a plain vine wreath and wrapped it with red-and-white twine. I then hot glued felt leaves, overlapping, to the side and added an extra bit of twine on the back to hang the wreath from. Easy and inexpensive.

Man, I love decorating for holidays.
