Floral Overload

YOU GUYS. I turned the heat on in my car for a minute this morning. It is officially the start of layering season.

Up first? Florals with florals!

Okay, sure, it’s 80 degrees outside. There’s an entire month left of summer. Whatever. I’m heading into autumn mode at rapid speed, and layering pretty flowers with even prettier flowers is a fun way to merge the seasons. Also it leaves (get it? flowers? leaves? tough crowd) me crazy colorful, which helps keep Lance from losing me when I dart off in shopping centers after spotting cozy sweaters and other fall must-haves in the distance.

Speaking of crazy colorful, take a good, long look at this amazing mural. This wall near my house is constantly changing, and its artist (or artists!) is so talented I want to explode. This same wall has also housed this mural and this one and this one since we moved to the area; Lance and I are always so excited wandering by to see if it has changed. South City, you’re so rad.

And you’ll be even more rad in the autumn.
