Lance and I did not plan on hiring a videographer, and we didn’t even consider the idea until the third married person mentioned that her wedding regret was not having it recorded. Maybe we should consider it, we thought. People keep bringing it up.
Immediately after the wedding ceremony, we were thankful we hired a professional videographer. Before the receiving line even started, we were both talking about how happy we were someone filmed the experience. Are you married? Did it all blur together in a magical, surreal haze for you too? Glad it wasn’t just us.

Leading up to the wedding, the Applause Productions team and I chatted extensively via email so the videos would represent what mattered most to us about the wedding. The day of the event, the team arrived early with cheerful attitudes and they (along with the photographer, Chameleon Imagery) kept the morning moving on the right schedule by pacing important moments for optimal fun and footage. Our families and wedding party found the team just as courteous and helpful as we did, and we’re all blown away by the video. Applause Productions stayed with us for all the important moments, from putting on the dress to tossing the bouquet. And they didn’t break the budget! While many videographers bid upwards of $3,000, Applause Productions offers plans at a fraction of the cost. You can even hire a DJ and a video team for 50% less than many of the video bids I’ve seen. We’re ecstatic we can now literally play the day on repeat!
