I’m Back. It’s Cold. Here’s an Outfit.

I’ve been offline for a while, huh? Excluding a few sporadic social media posts, I’ve been MIA for about a week and holy shit did I need it. The last two months of 2017 were challenging, to say the least, and the year wrapped up with a virus that just wouldn’t quit. After ten days of pajamas and bed rest, both Lance and I are back to normal and playing catch-up. My first obligation? Blog.

Kidding. That’s not the first thing I did. The first thing I did was clean. A cluttered house makes for a cluttered mind, right? Something like that. Ten days on your ass means ten days worth of empty soup cans and vitaminwater bottles because sharing a bed means you both end up sick and there’s no healthy adult in the house to take care of you. After spending my Sunday decluttering the Cain home, I finally feel like I can be productive.

SO NOW WE BLOG, OKAY? OKAY. Let’s see what I finally wore when I emerged from my house no longer sick.

Currently wearing… Chenille sweater c/o Macy’s | Coat, H&M | Necklace and earrings, Kendra Scott | Earmuffs, Cracker Barrel | Boots c/o Naturalizer | Jeans c/o Express

It’s cold as all hell, so I’ve been bundling up. I have wimpy baby ears so a good pair of earmuffs is crazy important for me. Since mine are quite the statement accessory, and more is obviously more, I pilled on a few more bold pieces including this leopard coat and beautiful Kendra Scott jewelry my husband gave me for Christmas. Compared to my accessories, this mustard chenille pullover (which I have been living in) looks like a mild neutral. Layers for the win!

Come back tomorrow to see what cocktail I’ve been sipping now that I’m no longer on cold medicine and am able to drink! Hint: there’s chocolate involved.
