Mini Dress + Jeans

With the majority of our items still in boxes, I was ecstatic to find an easy mini dress to wear today — and then I stepped outside and realized it was unseasonably cold. No complaints here! Cool weather is the best, and as a new homeowner, it means we can turn the AC off. (Whew!) But I haven’t unpacked any tights yet. Jeans it is!

One of the best parts of a mini dress is how easily it turns into a top. Same goes for dresses you bought in high school that weren’t really mini dresses then but somehow grew shorter over the years because you’re, say, not shaped the same you were at sixteen. But that’s totally not what happened here. This one was definitely always this short. I’m sure my high school closet would fit exactly the same now. Totally. For sure. I bet I just shrunk it in the dryer. That’s probably it.
