Purple is my absolute favorite color, so when I spotted this tunic on super sale at Free People a while back I knew it had to be mine. I love purple in nearly all its shades — ummm, hi, did you see my many shades o’ purple wedding? — and with nearly all colors, but deep purple paired with olive may be my favorite. The two shades balance nicely together, just like this super loose top balances so well with my super skinny jeans. Opposites attract, ya know?

I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather, so a casual, unfussy outfit like this is my go-to look. My jeans could be unbuttoned for comfort and you wouldn’t even know. (They aren’t here… or are they? Have they ever been buttoned at all? I’LL NEVER TELL.)
