Sunday Traditions | Preparing for the Workweek

Excluding unique occasions, such as STLFW recovery or someone’s birthday, I spend most Sundays doing the same thing. I like being prepared for a week, both mentally and fashionably. By taking care of a few things each Sunday, my weeks function a little smoother.

Workweek Prep
I’m a perpetual planner, and I like to have everything noted, scheduled and ready to go as far in advance as possible (it’s actually an obnoxious habit, but also a productive self-indulgence.) As a newly-professional, recent graduate I think it’s twice as important to be on top of everything and prepared for anything. Be it the always-charged voice recorder in my bag, the crazed amount of paper and pens I keep at hand or the random helpfuls (ahem, that mini lint roller did save the day, thank you!) I’m fine using my personal crazy to better my work experience, for myself and those I work with… And I am my best after a proper Sunday full of tidying, pampering and preparation.  It might not sound too exciting, but there was also Mad Men and a nice glass of Carolans, so don’t laugh too quick. Scandalous!
What do you do to prepare for the week?
