You remember Bit-O-Local, the St. Louis-based subscription box that shares local makers in a curated package four times per year. Tons of you entered our December Bit-O-Local giveaway, so I know I’m not alone in my local love. The mad rad team of ladies behind the brand sent me over the Spring 2017 box, and we’re giving one away to a reader! Scroll down to peek inside and enter to win your own.
Aren’t subscription boxes the most fun? Beats the hell outta bills, or my new personal favorite, those ominous life insurance letters you start getting after you buy a house. Sometimes you just need a surprise box to make sorting the junk mail manageable. Just me?
Alright, one by one, here’s what is inside the latest Bit-O-Local box…
‘Hello’ Print from Oh, So Poppy ($25)
Well isn’t this charming! I’m always looking for more quirky artwork to put around the house, and this full-sized print will look adorable framed. If I can’t find a spot for it on our walls, it would look great with my Valentine’s Day decorations.
Goodnight St. Louis Coloring Book ($20)
I haven’t gotten too into the adult coloring trend, but I think it’s about time I try it! These adorable St. Louis coloring sheets tear out nicely and feature a little write-up on the back about the location. I think this one of the Loop (where Lance and I lived for years before buying our first house) is my favorite in the book.
Glow Candle Co. Hand Made Candle in Lemon & Lavender ($20)
This hand-poured wax candle will burn for 60 hours. It smells very springy, with equal parts lemon and lavender. The minimalist packaging comes complete with a hand-written label.
Lemon Zest Coconut Butter from Coconut Kitchen ($9)
I am so excited to try this; I LOVE coconut and lemon. Coconut Kitchen creates products meant to make adding coconut oil to your diet easier. It says it can be spread on toast, put into smoothies, added to granola, and more.
‘Batter Up’ Spoon from Looking Glass Designs ($10)
Last up is this adorable wooden spoon. St. Louis is a baseball town, and I like baked goods, so this seems like a pretty perfect combination! It will look super cute in the kitchen, or even saved for a baseball fanatic’s housewarming gift! Who doesn’t love a good food pun?
In case you’re counting, the items in this box add up to $84. For a $25 subscription box, that’s fantastic. And what an assortment! I love when boxes cover a variety of categories, and this one went from decor to food to hobby.
Want your own? Enter to win one now!
Times like this I’m bummed Bit-O-Local only comes out every season. In case you need more, too, here’s a tip: the company is doing its first pop-up shop on March 30th at The Spotted Pig from 6 to 8 PM. Get more details here.
Good luck in the giveaway! Thank you for sponsoring this post, Bit-O-Local. And don’t forget: You don’t have to complete all the entry options in the Rafflecopter widget. From following on social to leaving a comment, each option just earns you an extra entry!
