Product Review: Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask

I was under the impression that there wasn’t much else that could be done with a face mask. You put one on, it feels nice, it may or may not start to harden, you wash or peel it off… the end. Then I got an email asking me if I’d like to try Radical Skincare’s Instant Revitalizing Mask, and my whole opinion regarding face masks changed.

Looking for a weekend spa retreat, but stuck at home? Taaaa-daaaa!

WHO: Radical Skincare
WHAT: Instant Revitalizing Mask
WHERE: Available at Sephora, $65
WHY: Softer, healthier looking skin, plus a spa-like experience at home.

THE VERDICT: Much like the video explains, this mask literally pops like tiny Champagne bubbles all over your face. It applies in a non-fizzing format and, after a minute or so on the skin, the product suddenly pops once… then twice… then continuously, all over your face. You can hear the teeny bubbles and see them explode in the mirror. It changes from opaque to clear as it pops, staying longer in areas that need more work. I kept mine on for about twenty minutes, as the mask continued popping on some extremely dry or zitty areas for that long.

This process obviously feels fantastic, but does it do anything? My skin was softer and had a healthier hue after using; and, on a gross but important note, a particularly obnoxious pimple vacated my pore, mid mask bubble popping. But the biggest perk here was that it literally felt like an at-home spa experience. In less than half an hour, I melted away much of the week’s stress without having to put on real pants. So, ladies, throw on some slocks (ahem, slippers + socks = slocks), make yourself a mimosa and get ready to be pampered. This product is a total game-changer.

Black Line Graphic

Hey you! Radical Skincare may have sent me this mask, but these thoughts are totally my own.
