When Best Buy asked me to showcase its exclusive, collectable, now-available The Lion King SteelBook 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray I knew I wanted to have a mini Simba-inspired photo shoot with my main man Yogurt The Cat. Yogurt loves being held so much he doesn’t care how, so the iconic armpit lift is something he actually enjoys. Plus, it’s time this little furball start doing some work around the house. I always thought he’d make a good model.
Plus, I’m obviously a perfect fit for this campaign. I’m clearly Disney obsessed. Since I’m home so much, I watch a ton of movies. Big fan of cats. I’m a regular Best Buy customer. Oh, and did I mention I’m Disney obsessed?
No, there weren’t any problems in the fit of the campaign. Or in Yogurt being held in an odd position. The problem was going outside to the yard to get the good light. It isn’t his favorite place. Please enjoy our attempt, and major fails, while we tried to recreate this iconic scene.

Turns out, it’s a little hard to get animals to do exactly what you’re picturing. Dare I guess that’s why director Jon Favreau turned this classic cartoon into a live action-style remake using computer animation? Man oh man, it does look real though. With the spectacular voice talents Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, and James Earl Jones, this story follows the familiar family tale we all love with new effects you need to see on Blu-Ray/4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray.
When I went to the press screening of this movie, I took my mother because she was in town. I can’t wait to show these amazing new visuals to Lance and enjoy the new jokes for a second time. Which changes were your favorite in the film?

I’m going to go re-watch it now and see how Yogurt and I can improve our photo. But, judging by how our first attempt went, you might need to get the SteelBook yourself because I don’t think we’re going to get our version much better. This is one thing better left to the pros.
