There aren’t many consistents in the world of fashion blogging except for one: you end up with a crazy amount of beauty products. The world of beauty PR is massive! Most fashion bloggers I know, myself included, are swimming in product samples. I’ve always shared my favorites, but my beauty reviews have been fairly irregular, popping up randomly from time to time.

I’ve been loyal to a brow pomade for years, and this brow powder + pencil combo might be my new go-to product. This applies in seconds and looks so natural – and it survived an entire hot summer day. To use, outline the hard edges of your brow (for me, that’s the inside edge and lower line) with the pencil, then fill in with the powder applicator. Perfect brows all day.

Sigma Aura Powder Blush in Nymphaea

This buildable blush offers an even color that lasts all day. I love the natural hue, but I think the package is a little hard to open without ruining your manicure. It’s good – not life changing, but good – minus that one flaw. Maybe it’ll become easier to pop open over time? I’d rather not sacrifice my manicure for my blush.

I fell in love with the packaging the minute I saw the watercolor detail, and I knew we were soulmates after the first swipe. This LAQA & CO. Avo Lip Butter is perfect. PERFECT. Full coverage. Good moisture. Fantastic color options. After months of nothing but liquid lipstick, it is so nice to return to a creamy option – and man, is this creamy with its ultra hydrating avocado-filled formula. I’ve talked about many of my top hues on Instagram, but my absolute favorite is Co Host. Warning: You’ll want to buy them all.

OLAY Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

Oh how I wanted to love this product, as I’m pretty much out of face lotion and I needed a new one. Plus, I know a ton of other influencers have been over the moon about this product and I generally like Olay. This thick cream left me so broken out and oily I had to stop after the first use. Sob.

Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask

Last season’s FabFitFun box came with plenty of rad products, including a multi-pack of these Karuna Hydrating+ Face Masks. They retail at Sephora for $8 per mask or $28 per four pack, which is already more than four times what I pay for my normal sheet masks. These masks have a plastic coating on one side that I think complicates the application process for no beneficial reason, and the results weren’t any better or worse than I’d see after using nearly any cheaper option.
SCORE: Meh? Just meh
