Are you changing your skincare and beauty routine this season? I always think I’ll switch to spring and summer products, but never do… Until this year, because Birchbox sent me some! Check out these reviews for a few products you should try this season– and see which ones you should skip.

Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On: This is arguably the BEST product I have received since signing up with Birchbox, and the first I can guarantee that I will purchase again. This eye serum removes puffiness while cooling the eyes; the application tip is a perpetually cold marble that rolls the product on evenly. The chilly application has literally become one of my favorites parts of the morning; right after a hot shower, it really wakes you up. Best part? It’s sold at tons of places, including drugstores. Go buy it now before everyone realizes it’s great and it sells out. Because it is that good.
Supergoop! Daily Correct SPF 35 CC Cream: I like my current foundation, but I’ll be purchasing this Supergoop! CC Cream as my next pick. You can actually watch it adjust to your skin tone. Yeah, I know, it’s insane. It stays put throughout the day, applies smoothly and thick, and leaves my skin less oily than most other products. And since it’s a CC Cream, it has all kinds of summer-friendly perks, like SPF 35.
Nexxus Hydra-Light Leave-In Conditioning Foam: I use a leave-in conditioner each day, but it probably won’t be this kind for much longer. While it does moisturize without weighing hair down, I thought it left my ends ultra tangled and almost sticky. After applying it, I threw my hair into a bun; when I undid it after work, it felt like it had been drenched in hairspray. For less money and better results, I’ll stick to drugstore leave-ins, thanks you.
J. R. Watkins Peppermint Foot Repair Salve: My only complaint is that the packaging requests that you wear socks while you sleep, which is normally awful. Instead, I pile on this salve while I lounge in PJs and let my feet soften up while I watch Netflix. What could be more warm-weather appropriate than peppermint foot salve? Plain and simple, this stuff smells great and will keep you sandal-ready all season.
Caudalie Divine Oil: Y’know how great your cuticles look when you leave the nail salon? And how they don’t look quite like that when you paint your own nails? My cuticles actually got so out of control I had to stop wearing nylons because they– my god damn cuticles, of all things!– were putting runs in them. This stuff fixes that problem. Or any dryness problem, I’m guessing, with just a drop.
I just got my May Birchbox today, which means I have new products to test! Have you signed up yet?
