Have I mentioned how beyond excited I am about our wedding photos?
I think I might have talked about it once or twice, but our wedding photos from St. Louis photographer Lillian Peters of Chameleon Imagery are absolutely gorgeous. And I have so many great ones I can’t fit them all into one blog post. Too many beautiful wedding photos is the loveliest kind of problem to have.
Today I’m sharing some of our portraits, like the photos of the wedding party. My beautiful bridesmaids wore the Versa Mesh Convertible Dress from David’s Bridal, which I think was equally beautiful in person and in photos. Each lovely lady was able to style the sleeves however they wanted, which added some variation, and the full skirt even accommodated one bridesmaid’s growing baby belly. It was the perfect compromise to everyone’s varying styles and my love for traditional matching bridesmaid dresses. The shade (wisteria) looked very different in natural and artificial light, and I adored both looks. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that all my ‘maids are total babes!
That last photo is one of my favorites from the entire day. I was so relieved we had gotten some outdoor pictures despite the rain, and we were heading back to the car to go to the reception. That intersection is pretty busy and tons of cars were honking at us in celebration — we had the walk signal, I swear we didn’t cut anyone off! It was a very surreal moment, and an image I’ll love forever.
Photos from our wedding reception coming soon!
