Cheers! Bachelorette Party Planning Tips

Immediately after asking my bridesmaids to be in my wedding, following a brief OMG-moment and hug, they all had one question: What are we going to do for the bachelorette party? With the contracts, fittings, and schedules, wedding planning is a giant ball o’ stress — and the bachelorette party is there to help you forget that. Ahem, see below.

Oh god, who gave me pink wine?

Bachette, a bachelorette apparel and accessories shop, asked me to style some of my favorite bride-to-be products into a mini celebration. Another reason to party? Don’t mind if I do! See how I styled some of their best items below, and keep scrolling for party tips, drink ideas, and a Bachette.com giveaway!

See something you like? Find it here… Hell on Heels tank [HERE] | Bride To Be headband [HERE] | Diamond outline necklace [HERE] | I Said Yes / That’s What She Said koozies [HERE] // All courtesy of Bachette

Okay, let’s start with these shirts. The quality is out of control, and they are so freaking soft. Bachette can personalize its shirts, so I had ‘Bride’ added to the back of this Hell on Heels tank. Coordinating bride and bridesmaid tops are also available. These tanks run a little large, which I adore, but pay attention to sizes when ordering. For perspective, I’m wearing a medium, which is my normal size; for a tight fit, size down.

Now onto the accessories… I’m a headband/small hat girl. I have a little hat for any holiday involving bar hopping, and like to include a party hat with all birthday gifts. This headband is the cutest, and it doesn’t pinch at all. Is it weird if I wear it around my house? No? Great, that’s what I thought. This diamond outline necklace is delicate and adorable. I also might have worn it to work today, as office attire is boring and this charm is rad. And the koozies? Well come on. What is a bachelorette party without some cheesy jokes? I can’t wait to give these to my girls.

Are you planning a bachelorette party in the future? Here are a few ideas for inexpensive fun, which frees up your budget for inappropriate gifts for the bride. Priorities, people!

  • Use colorful balloons to transform a space on a budget.
  • Rummage through your holiday or party decor and look for glittery, sparkly, or otherwise festive decorations. I used items from our Christmas, New Years, and birthday party decorations to decorate the bar.
  • To make bottled drinks look even more on-theme, wrap the labels in washi tape and place in a festive koozie.
  • If you’re going for a homemade cocktail, try a simple mixed drink like The Wedded Blitz, Mrs. Claus’ Rum Punch, or The Festive Cran-Apple Fizz.
  • Play a game (or five)! Bachette even has a free printable scavenger hunt on their site. (Find it here!)
  • Miniature alcohol bottles make great favors or prizes! Pick the weirdest flavors, duh.
  • Keep colorful straws on display. Bonus points for stripper glasses, which I did already own. Lance gave them to me as a gift. You can obviously see why we’re getting married.
  • Make a custom sign using letters from unexpected places, like the craft store or cut out from magazines.
  • Crinkle paper or basket-filler grass can be a more statement-making version of confetti!

Planning on going a bit more formal for your bachelorette attire? Not a problem. These tanks make adorable loungewear, travel attire, post-party brunch tops, or workout clothing. Dork out over your engagement all the time. I mentioned the shirts are super soft, right? I’m a little addicted. With the right scarf no one will know if I wear one to work… Hm…
