As always, I’ve replaced one found fashion want for another new, lust-worthy item. And I wonder where my money goes.
Want to guess my current shopping obsession? Hint: I’ve decided to find the comfort of jeans in a non-denim fabric. Another hint: I refuse to wear neon-colored pants. I’ll give you three tries.
- Roxy Cord Colored Skinny Jean in brown, $49.50, PacSun
- 1969 Skinny Boot Cord in carburetor navy, $59.95, Gap
- Morgan Low-Rise Skinny Cord in graphite, $49.50, Delia’s
Wouldn’t these all look wonderful rolled at the hems and tucked into boots? Neutral pants leave room for great accessories or patterned tops, while bright red pants scream “Look at how unflattering this is for my ass!” I think I need all three of these pairs.
Here’s hoping it’s autumn-like weather all week
.
You should check out the Rockstar cords at Old Navy! They’re on sale right now for $19. I bought the grey ones yesterday, am wearing them today and plan on going back for the black and tan ones during my lunch hour. The sizing is off (I had to go up a size), but once I did that – they fit perfectly!

I’ve always thought Old Navy jeans fit funny in the hips, but maybe their cords would be better. You can’t really argue with $19, especially since it’s starting to get cold already and if I want to get them the time is now.
Thanks for the tip!
i need to get to the Gap, clearly. Thanks for your cute ideas!

Absolutely! I’m not always a fan of the fit of Gap pants, but that gunmetal shade is so rad… 🙂
