I’ve had an image of the perfect little black dress in my head for years. It has a retro vibe without looking costume-y. The skirt is long without needing sky-high heels. The neckline goes off the shoulder without looking bulking around a large chest. It doesn’t wrinkle easily. It can be dressed up or down.
You can imagine my audible gasp when I saw it for sale in an Orlando Saks Off Fifth and realized it came with pockets.
This LBD by classic design Halston was marked down to about $130 and, thanks to my (free) Simon VIP coupon book I had a $25 discount. Sure, this may be one of my more expensive Tales of Great Sales… But this piece is also going to last a literal lifetime and… Well… It’s just so pretty.
Next time you see it, I’ll have to style it with boots and a motorcycle jacket. I’m so happy to have you in my wardrobe, dream LBD!
