My cat’s idea of a perfect weekend is sitting on top of my laptop while touching both my leg and the soft couch blanket while we binge watch Netflix and move very little.
My perfect weekend is a little different, but his idea is pretty great.
Although it involved a little more moving than that, I had a fantastic weekend. My bestie Sara and I hit the ballet for some afternoon art (and wine) before heading to the Delmar Loop for guac and shopping, then heading to the burbs to check out the deals at DSW. With a Saturday so busy, Lance and I took it easy on Sunday; we watched The Office, tidied the mud room, grabbed some groceries… Normal end-of-weekend stuff.
Even though we weren’t doing too much, I couldn’t help but wear a few of my latest accessories. I snagged these Kendra Scott pieces at a discount at my recent birthday bash (more details soon!), and I got the locally crafted Made Supply Co. wrap bracelet the same evening. I found the loafers on sale with a birthday discount at DSW for a mere $17, and the cat sunglasses were spotted next to the door at a Delmar Blvd. second-hand shop. The minute Sara and I saw them it was pretty obvious I couldn’t go home empty handed.
