Funny story: The name Oh, Julia Ann came from one of my old AIM screen names. I picked it back then because of the sort of annoyed way someone might say my name when baffled or peeved. It’s heavy on the “oooh,” you see.

“Oh, Julia Ann, get your hair off your face.”
“Oh, Julia Ann, that skirt is awfully short…”
Back then, I was the queen of the short skirts. The redhead in the miniskirt, my LiveJournal profile read. From thirteen to nineteen, I rocked the teeny-tiny, itty-bitty denim minis. Then one day my adult butt felt a breeze and BAM! No more short skirts.
I felt it was time for a comeback.
