PETER PILOTTO Picked a Peck of Printed Products (For Target!)

I was sixteen when Target launched the GO International line. The collection was by Luella Bartley, I got the cherry pleated skirt (which, let’s be honest, was one of the most bitchin’ items in the line), and suddenly Target was more than that place you go to buy affordable cardigans. Fast forward eight years, and they’re still bringing great designs to the public—except the latest collection is a little less punk-meets-prep and a little more Alice in Wonderland-meets-hardcore psychedelics.

The next great collaboration coming to the discount superstore is PETER PILOTTO for Target, which the company reports “will feature nearly 70 items… with most items retailing for less than $60.” Here’s hoping that bikini falls in the affordable zone; I never go swimming, but I’d get a damn pool membership for that number.

Look out for the collection on shelves February 9th.

I can’t stop imagining a few of those items with black tights, black blazers and black pumps… What a way to shake up the 9-to-5! Switch in some studs and a hot pink lipstick for after-work drinks? Have mercy.

Counting down the days till February…
