Wedding Wednesday | How to (Make and) Re-Wear Your Wedding Jewelry

Austin-based Kendra Scott recently made its St. Louis debut at Plaza Frontenac, and the adorable store comes complete with the line’s signature Color Bar. Perfect for bridal parties, this feature allows guests to design custom pieces in-store that are ready to take home almost immediately. Stop by to make a piece on the spot, or call ahead to plan a champagne-filled get-together. I recently visited the new location to create a necklace and earrings with rose quartz, mother of pearl, and druzy that is ideal for any bridal event.

I brought in my bridal headpiece to create coordinating pieces. I added bits of color and texture to warm the items up and make them more wearable post-wedding. Just because you’re wearing a white dress doesn’t mean you need all-white accessories. (They’ll get you’re the bride, I promise.)

So, how does the Color Bar work? It’s super simple.

Step One: Head to the Color Bar to begin testing out looks.

Step Two: Finalize a design and grab a handy-dandy Kendra Scott employee to begin the creation process.

Step Three: Check out stones with your design expert and watch as he or she begins to create your custom piece.

Step Four: Wear everyday like an obsessed child in love with all things shiny.
