WHAT // Blogger Pool Party at Cortona at Forest Park
Lance and I kicked off our long weekend at a blogger party by the pool, lounging on outdoor furniture that’s arguably nicer than our indoor furniture. Le sigh. Aren’t those the best invitations to get? If only it was how we spent each weekend. ALIVE Magazine and new luxury apartment complex Cortona at Forest Park invited us to stop by before the May 31 grand opening—which happily enough (because who doesn’t want double the celebration?) is also ALIVE’s Hot List Party. A self-serve bar, pool table and shuffleboard, an amazing gym, lounge seating, a three-tier swimming pool, upscale furnishings…this complex is so jaw-dropping that Lance and I sat in silence for several minutes just looking staring gawking. Call me crazy, but it seems like a logical place to celebrate the best of the best.
