Two Ways to Rock a Visible Bralette

Anyone else getting the targeted Facebook ads for Victoria’s Secret bralettes? They are everywhere. The bralettes pictured — and seen most other places, for that matter — are cute, don’t get me wrong, but they are too risque for me to rock as a top and too low-support for me to wear as a bra.

But regardless, they’re everywhere. The bralette moment won’t go away. And I recently noticed one while browsing Tobi’s online shop that has some peek-a-boo straps I couldn’t help but admire. Us bigger-boobed gals can still rock the bralette vibe with visible options under summertime tops. (And, in my case, while still being worn with a regular bra.)

I’m not the only blogger with bralettes on the mind: Olivia of A Drop in the Ocean (aka one of my favorite blogs, previously featured here) decided to style one, too!

I paired my strappy Tobi bralette with super-sale Madewell Flea Market Flares, found in store for $17, and a patterned open-back tank.

Olivia styled her bralette with skinny jeans, flat sandals, and a black tank. (And a very similar purse!) You can check out her whole look on her blog, A Drop in the Ocean.
